Amber Leigh Botha

 

Amber started cricket at a very young age. She played in the boys team in primary school as there wasn't a girls side. Then played 1st team for her high school girls team through out her high school career and also captained the side.

 

She went on to Play in the Eastern Province U/19 side for five years, captaining it twice, making her Eastern Province Women debut at the age of 14 and played for them until 2021.

 She made the SA U/19 Schools Team in 2021.

 

She Recently signed a contract with the Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers women’s team for the 2022/23 Season playing in the top six, the highest women league in the country .
